CUSCO MARVELOUS TOUR
The Condor Canyon is located in the Andean community of Chonta in the district of Limatambo, province of Anta and department of Cusco, 3 hours drive to the community of Chonta and 1 hour walk to the viewpoint of the Condor Canyon (3 km). The Condor Canyon is the natural sanctuary of the Andean condor (sacred bird of the Incas), Chonta offers visitors the majestic flight of the Andean condor in its natural habitat and the impressive Apurimac Canyon with more than 1400 m. deep.
Pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am approx. then we will travel by paved road to Limatambo and along the trip we will make stops at archaeological sites such as Killarumiyoc and Tarawasi where our professional guide will explain step by step about the history of each place. Arriving in Limatambo we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
We continue by an unpaved road for another hour to the community of Chonta, this trip is up to 3400 masl. We will make stops at some points to take pictures of the snowy Salkantay and the valley of Limatambo, we arrive at the village of Chonta at 13:00 hours approx. from where we start our 1 hour walk on a wide road to the viewpoint of the condor canyon 3350 masl, here we can appreciate the impressive Andean condor in its natural habitat, the condors usually return to their nests in the afternoon between 15:00 pm approx, You will have the opportunity to see the condors up close for an average of 2 hours or more flying in front of you, it is a wonderful experience.
Return walking to Chonta and then in our car to the city of Cusco. Arrival time approximately at 19:30 p.m.
DAY 01: AIRPORT PICK UP – CITY TOUR
Pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel, where you will be welcomed with a delicious coca tea to acclimatize to the altitude.
At 13:00 p.m. pick up from your hotel to continue with the City tour. Where you will have the opportunity to visit interesting archaeological sites of the imperial Inca type, the famous Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), the Cathedral of Cusco, the archaeological complexes Pukapukara, Q’enqo and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Strategically built on a hill of Cusco.

DAY 02: SACRED VALLEY
08:00 a.m. pick up from your hotel, to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will visit the craft market and archaeological center of Pisaq, we continue to Urubamba, where we will stop for lunch. Then we head to Ollantaytambo, after visiting this beautiful archaeological center we return to Chinchero and finally return to the city of Cusco.

DAY 03 : MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY
04:30 a.m. Este día muy temprano por la mañana recojo de su hotel para dirigirnos hacia la Estación de Tren en Ollantaytambo, para seguidamente tomar el tren que nos conducirá a Aguas Calientes. Luego tomaremos el bus turístico para subir al Santuario de Machu picchu, donde tendrá un guiado de dos horas aprox. tendrá tiempo para disfrutar de tan majestuoso lugar y tomarse fotos, etc. Por la tarde retorno a Aguas Calientes y tomar el tren de retorno a Ollantaytambo y seguidamente el transporte a Cusco.

DAY 04: MOUNTAIN OF COLORS “VINICUNCA” FULL DAY
The mountain is located in the Cordillera del Vilcanota at 5,200 meters above sea level, in the district of Pitumarca. Its slopes and summits are tinged with intense shades of fuchsia, turquoise, lavender and gold.
Early, around 05:00 a.m. pick up from your hotel in Cusco to make the trip to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we will continue in our tourist transport for about an hour to Chillihuani, district of Cusipata, province of Quispicanchis, where we will begin the hike to the Mountain of Colors for an hour and a half to two hours approximately.
On the way to the mountain you can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Andes, glacial peaks, red mountains, rocky hills. Arriving at Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures of this natural wonder.
Afterwards, we will continue with our hike for an hour and a half to two hours of descent and flat parts to the starting point of the hike: Chillihuani, then we continue in our transport to Cusipata, where we will have a delicious lunch, finally we will return to Cusco, arriving at 17:00 hours approx.

DAY 05: Cusco – EcoManu Lodge
Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco, to start our trip through Andean mountains, beautiful landscapes, rural folkloric communities like Paucartambo and Ninamarca (chullpas or funerary tombs) that belong to the pre-Inca LUPACAS culture. Then we climb the last mountain to reach Acjanaco, entrance to the MANU NATIONAL PARK, from where we descend to the lush cloud forest that houses a variety of flora and fauna. Being an ideal place for epiphytes, orchids, bromeliads, etc.. It is there where we will explore the cloud forest and can appreciate the National bird of Peru, the colorful Cock of the Rock in its ritual mating dance, as well as toucans, trogons, quetzals, monkeys and hopefully the South American spectacled bear (Tremantus ornatos). Continuing our excursion of the day, we head to the Patria Valley, Pilcopata small towns in the Amazon and then to the expected tourist port of Aatalaya, where our motorized boat awaits us to drive us down the Madre de Dios River towards the EcoManu lodge. We will have dinner and free time to enjoy some cold drinks. Then we will spend the night in our comfortable rooms.
Swimming and fishing in the rivers and using the hammocks in the lodges is free and safe for all guests.
DAY 06: EcoManu lodge.
In the morning we wake up to the sound of birdsong and the lush Amazon rainforest, it is time to enjoy our healthy breakfast to explore the lush Amazon forest through the different trails and appreciate the giant rubber trees, tonillos, ficus, which are home to groups of capuchin monkeys, woolly monkeys, howler monkeys and dozens of species of birds such as colorful parrots, parrots, woodpeckers, etc..
In mid-afternoon we head to the mammal lick, a very special place in the Amazon rainforest. After a 35 minute walk in the middle of the forest we will arrive at the hide and as the day turns to darkness, a truly fascinating and unforgettable new experience begins, you will be completely immersed in the Amazonian world.
The hide is a wooden platform more than 4 meters high, it is perfectly camouflaged among the trees, located in front of the mammal lick, there we will observe the mythical Amazonian tapir, peccaries, deer and hopefully the largest feline in South America Jaguar (Pantera onca). The observation platform includes mosquito nets and mats to wait for the arrival of the mammals.
Night hikes or activities are possible every night, which will be at the disposal and organization of our guides. Overnight in our comfortable EcoManu Lodge.
DAY 07: EcoManu Lodge.
Early in the morning we board our boat to go to the small colpa (clay wall containing mineral salts) very important of the place, where many noisy parakeets, parrots and small macaws or green parrots ingest the clay as a final diet for their detoxification. After this fantastic show, we will enjoy our healthy breakfast on site. Continuing our expedition in the Amazon we head to the important Machuwasi oxbow lake, with the help of the telescope we will observe a great variety of lake birds such as herons, sparrow hawks, ducks, hoatzins, oropendolas, families of capybaras (the largest rodent in the world) and hopefully an impressive anaconda or boa. In the afternoon we will enjoy the tropical waters (swimming and fishing).
At night we can have a short walk along the river, entering a little into the forest to find small abandoned lakes full of vegetation. Here we can find one of the largest reptiles in the Amazon. Our search begins with the preparation of our lamps and headlamps to look for the red eyes of the caimans and with the help of our guide we will have a close look at these impressive reptiles.
Our last night in the jungle.
DAY 08: EcoManu Lodge – Puerto de Atalaya – Cusco.
