TOUR MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY
Machu Picchu, wonder par excellence, is an Inca citadel located in the Andes of Cusco-Peru, on the valley of the Urubamba River at 2430 meters above sea level. It was built in the 15th century under the rule of the Inca Pachacutec, and is famous for its complex stone walls that combine huge blocks without the use of mortar, the incredible buildings that relate to astronomical alignments and its panoramic views. Machu Picchu remains surprising and mysterious for any visitor. Early in the morning pick up from your hotel and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo for a two hour trip to the town of Aguas Calientes and then board the tourist bus that will take us for a time of 30 minutes to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where you will have a guided tour for about two and a half hours, you will have time to take pictures of this modern wonder. Return to the town of Aguas Calientes, lunch in restaurants and continue the return to the imperial city of Cusco. If you want to climb the “Huayna Picchu” or the “Mountain”, you must book in advance, as there is a limited number of tickets.
