INKA JUNGLE - MACHUPICCHU
This route includes a bit of adventure and of course culture at its best; excellent route for travelers who wish to visit our World Wonder by a different route that combines biking, hiking (rafting and zipline activities optional) and return by train. We will start the first day cycling down to the jungle and then hike to Machu Picchu enjoying the wonderful scenic views along the route, and finally return to the city of Cusco by train.
CUSCO – ABRA MÁLAGA – SANTA MARIA
We will pick up our passengers from their hotels in our minibus passing through the Sacred Valley until arriving at the pass of the Malaga pass, 4,500 masl. or 14,850 feet, there our guide will give a safety talk and then begin the descent three hours approximately on mountain bikes into the jungle, surrounded by beautiful scenery, in the afternoon we will arrive at the town of Santa Maria, in the jungle (1,500. masl. or 4,950 feet). Rest at the hostel.
SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA
This day, we will start early in the morning climbing the mountain (there is not much slope), from this place we will have an impressive view of the landscapes, we will also observe the wide variety of plants and animals, always accompanied by the professional guide who will explain at all times the importance of the place, in the afternoon we will arrive to Santa Teresa. In the afternoon we will arrive to Santa Teresa, where we will also rest in a hostel.
SANTA TERESA – MACHU PICCHU
We will be in Santa Teresa at 1,900 meters above sea level or 6,270 feet, we will walk for 5 to 6 hours following the railroad until we arrive to Aguas Calientes, rest in your respective hotel because the next day is the most awaited, because we will visit one of the modern wonders: Machu Picchu.
MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
This day early in the morning, we will begin to climb from the town of Aguas Calientes to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, once there we will have a guided tour of this wonder for about two hours, we will also have time to take pictures or if you booked in advance to climb Huaynapicchu. In the afternoon we will return to Aguas Calientes, we will take our train back to Ollantaytambo and then transport to Cusco, arriving at 22:00 pm Approximately.
