MARAS MORAY BY ATV
The salt mines of Maras are near Cuzco, at 3300 meters above sea level, fed by a subway spring, which was exploited since pre-Inca times. It consists of pools of pink Andean salt of only five square meters each, leaving a spectacular landscape.
Moray is an Inca archaeological center at 3,500 meters above sea level very close to Maras, and also located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, at first glance it looks like an amphitheater, but apparently it was an agricultural research center built in the form of terraces. The Incas experimented here at different altitudes, different microclimates since in each terrace the temperature varies 1 degree, growing corn, quinoa, Andean grains, kiwicha and many other different products to try different crops.
This circuit is perfect for lovers of adventure travel, also enjoy the scenery and the visit of Moray and Salineras near Urubamba (Sacred Valley of the Incas), an ATV is very easy to handle and is widely used in sports travel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in the city of Cusco.
